Gourmet Chiang Mai restaurant David’s Kitchen will be hosting an evening of Spanish entertainment and food in aid of a local children’s charity this weekend. Viva Espana at David’s will feature live music and come with a complimentary first glass of sangria. Between 19:00 and 21:30, a buffet will provide guests with the chance of sampling quintessential Spanish tapas snacks and paella rice.
An auction will be an integral part of the evening’s proceedings with offerings ranging from bespoke jewellery to mini-breaks in luxury hotels. David’s Kitchen notes that all funds raised from Viva Espana will be given to the Chiang Mai based Foundation for Developing and Supporting Children (FDSC). The foundation assists vulnerable and needy youngsters by means of various projects and scholarships.
Viva Espana will take place on Sunday 21 October between 18:00 and 23:00. Tickets for the evening cost THB999. Advance reservations can be made by contacting David’s Kitchen or the FDSC direct. Contact details are on the Facebook page for the event and a link is provided here.
