Top comic artistes will be entertaining audiences at select venues in Thailand at the end of Next week. The Magners International Comedy Festival 2017 is coming to town and comedians will have audiences rolling in the aisles in Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Phuket.
The UK’s Matthew Giffen and Tristan Botly plus Canada’s Kelly Taylor and Sunanda Sachatrakull from India are among the international all-star cast of comic geniuses heading for the kingdom. The Comedy Club Bangkok is organising this extravaganza of hilarity which will kick off on 23 March 2017 with a gala opening performance at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok.
The hotel’s Altitude Lounge is hosting the gala opening and it will start at 20:00. Half-an-hour later, a trio of Indian stand-up comedians will be on stage at the Comedy Club’s home above the Royal Oak Pub on Soi 33/1 off Sukhumvit Road. On the two consecutive evenings, 24 and 25 March, there are two separate shows at 19:00 and 21:30.
Some of the comedians are also travelling to Pattaya where they will give a show at the Tavern by the Sea on 24 March at 20:00. Others will be at the Red Piano Restaurant and Wine Bar in Hua Hin at the same time. On Phuket, the Underwood Art Factory is the chosen venue for a rip-roaring evening of comedy beginning at 20:00.
The Comedy Club Bangkok’s website has full details about which comedians will be on stage at each of the venues during the Magners International Comedy Festival. Tickets are also available on the club’s website as well as on the door on the night.
